THE APPROACH

Mechanically polished concrete

Diamond grinding reveals the chosen level of aggregate. Progressively finer polishing stages refine the surface, with a densifier used as part of the system. The result is a finished concrete floor rather than a decorative layer laid over it.

What to consider

Existing slabs need an assessment for hardness, cracks, patches and previous coatings. These features can remain visible in the final floor.
